Menicon MeniCare Plus is an all-in-one multipurpose solution designed for rigid gas-permeable (RGP) contact lenses. It effectively cleans, disinfects and stores lenses, meeting ISO 14729 5-minute disinfection standards. The formula contains PHMB (polyhexamethylene biguanide) as a disinfectant and hypromellose as a lubricant. Hypromellose increases lens wettability and distributes the tear film evenly, so lenses feel clean, smooth and comfortable.

MeniCare Plus can safely soak lenses for up to 30 days in solution, ensuring long-term hygiene. It is suitable for all RGP lenses (including orthokeratology/specialty RGP designs) and is also used as a rinsing solution before insertion.

Usage Guidelines

  • Wash hands thoroughly.
  • Remove one lens and place it in your palm.
  • Apply several drops of MeniCare Plus and gently rub the lens on all surfaces.
  • Rinse thoroughly with fresh MeniCare Plus.
  • Place the lens in a clean lens case filled with fresh MeniCare Plus solution.
  • Soak for at least 5 minutes (overnight is ideal).
  • Before wearing, rinse lenses again with MeniCare Plus.
  • Discard used solution from the case and allow it to air dry.

Warnings

  • For RGP and Ortho-K lenses only. Do not use with soft or silicone hydrogel lenses.
  • Discard any opened bottle after 3 months.
  • Always use fresh solution; do not reuse or top up.
  • Replace your lens case every 3 months.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not use if allergic to any ingredients.
  • Stop use and consult an eye care professional if irritation occurs.
